Concept for the conversion of the parking garage “Herrlichkeit”. The obtained robust structure creates an open building that can accommodate a colorfully mixed living, working and leisure landscape. This approach is based on the idea that the most sustainable buildings are all those that already exist. A large atrium connects all floors as a distinct intervention. The parking spaces are replaced by communicative installations, which are characterized by different private and public spheres. Macro becomes micro, separation becomes connection, old becomes new.
