EVENT: I TEATRI DELLA CULTURA

Rome, it was a pleasure! First impressions of my talk in the midst of a wonderful scenery: The partial reconstruction of the original Teatrino Scientifico by Franco Purini, one of the most iconic locations of Estate Romana in 1979, and of course Zaha Hadid's MAXXI - Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo. Just as great to see Johnston Marklee, artistic director of the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial, in the audience! During the symposium I discussed the "ephemeral" along with FAKT, No studio , microcities/socks-studio and Lucia Tahan accompanied by four Italian studios Fosbury Architecture, La Macchina, Warehouse of Architecture and Research and Supervoid. Here are some impressions!
